Case Study

Genome screening

Genetic screening has shown that the acute dissection of the ascending aorta is possibly a genetic predisposition.  Previously it had been assumed that this was a result of lifestyle choices.  Additional cardiac screening has been initiated as recommended by the professor of cardiology.
